Land of the Freed supports and conducts research, educational and informational activities to increase public awareness of state sanctioned violence against Black people. We advocate for policies that create equity and economic sustainability for Black people – including injustices related to land ownership, and support creation of systems that decrease occurrences of state violence while increasing safety and quality of life.
